If you want to learn to play the guitar, you could do some research on the internet, buy an instructional book or dvd, or pay for private lessons. Or you could go to a guitar class, which is much more fun than the other options, and is also a quicker way to learn.

I run guitar classes in  Cheshire which  are very popular. No boring chord exercises, you will be playing songs from the start. The focus of the classes is on playing popular songs from all eras.

Learning within a group can produce amazing results very quickly, but don’t just take my word for it, check out what some of my students have said about my classes

Benefits:

Playing as part of a group improves your timing, helps you to hear the chord changes, which is good if you are an auditory learner and helps you to learn faster than playing at home alone. (Plus, it’s not so sad...)

You can see and hear  how others play the tunes and make the chord changes, if you are a visual learner this really helps.

It is also great fun, and my classes  always have a very relaxed but focused atmosphere.

What tends to happen is that the less able players tend to be “pulled along” by the current and thus make faster  progress than if they were learning alone.
